1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember state between requests. Simple Projects uses cookies sparingly and deliberately.
2. Cookies we set
All cookies we set are strictly necessary for the Service to function. You do not need to consent to these; without them you can’t sign in or stay signed in.
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
__Secure-next-auth.session-token (or similar) | Signed session JWT. Keeps you authenticated between requests. | 30 days |
__Host-next-auth.csrf-token | CSRF protection for sign-in form submissions. | Session |
__Secure-next-auth.callback-url | Stores the post-sign-in redirect target across the OAuth round-trip. | Session |
__Host-next-auth.pkce.code_verifier | PKCE verifier for the Entra ID OAuth flow. | 15 minutes |
3. Third-party cookies
We do not embed advertising cookies and we do not share cookies with ad networks. When you make a purchase, our billing partner (Stripe) sets cookies on its own checkout pages to prevent fraud and maintain the checkout session. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s own cookie policy.
4. Analytics
We don’t currently run analytics cookies on the Service. If and when we enable Microsoft Clarity or a similar tool for product-improvement telemetry, we’ll treat those as consent-required cookies and present a clear choice at that time.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies listed above will prevent the Service from working: you will not be able to sign in.
6. Changes
We’ll update this page whenever we add, remove, or change cookies.
